Our 2nd Annual
Montana Territorial Ball
The members of the 2nd U.S. Cavalry cordially invites the public to attend the social event of the season Saturday, May16, 2009 from 7:00 to 10:30 PM (1900 to 2230 hours) at the Historic Placer Center Hotel, 21 N. Last Chance Gulch, Helena, Montana Territory
This delightful evening will include Ball Room Dancing, Historical Entertainment, Light refreshments and a chance to experience the Victorian elegance of a bygone era.
Tickets are only $25.00 per Adult, $10.00 under 18.
Appropriate 19th Century Military/Civilain evening attire is required for this event. We do not have a list of any rental shops or do we endorse any costumers or sutlers. There are many resources available with some easy resarch.
One "must" we recommend is comfortable leather soled shoes. One must be able to glide over the floor for Victorian dancing. Rubber soles are not conducive to this maneuver. Out of consideration for the safety and comfort of others we request that you do not wear:
